A four-vehicle collision on a major North East A-road yesterday (April 2) saw a large emergency service presence at the scene and two people taken to hospital.
Police, ambulance, and fire units attended the pile-up on the A19 northbound slip-road between Mandale and Teesside Park Interchanges at around 3.55pm.
After arriving on scene, the four fire trucks that had arrived from Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough and Thornaby made the vehicles safe and helped the police manage the traffic flow that had been impacted by the crash.
