EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a car crash in Darlington this afternoon.
Two cars collided on the A67 junction at Carmel Road South, near Carmel Grove, just before 2pm today.
It is as yet unknown whether anyone was injured, however, the road was partially blocked meaning there was slow-moving traffic for the next few hours.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Carmel Road South, in Darlington.
“Police were alerted to the collision at 2.55pm today.”
North East Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
