A TWO-BEDROOM home is the cheapest currently for sale in County Durham, according to the property website Zoopla.
The terraced home on Rodwell Street, Trimdon Station, is on the market for almost four times less than the average home in the county.
With a "few things" needed to get ready for a new resident, the home looks like it could be a steal at just £28,600.

Marketed by Castledene Sales and Lettings in Seaham, the home comes with the freehold, vacant possession and described as the "perfect" opportunity.

According to the listing, the home is priced to sell and is touted as being in a "good area," where there are a number of amentities.
Surprisingly, the home looks like it is in a good condition, although it needs a new kitchen, redecoration, new carpets and work on the bathroom.
Unlike other Zoopla listings at this price, the home appears to be in a much better state than other homes we have featured before.
The listing also states that the home could be rentable, with around £400 per calendar month achievable.
