THERE has been more excitement as the cast and crew of ITV Vera have been spotted out and about filming for the next series of the show.
Brenda Blethyn and stars from the hugely popular show have been seen at a number of locations in Northumberland in recent days.
They are filming for series 12 of the show which will see Blethyn reprise as leading character, DCI Vera Stanhope and Kenny Doughty as her wingman, DS Aiden Healy.

So far, fans have taken to social media to say cast and crew have been spotted in Amble and Morpeth, both in Northumberland.
Shirley Newlands said she was left surprised to see Blethyn and crew filming outside The Morpeth Larder after finishing her shop at Morrison's.
She tweeted: "We got up late this morning we then went shopping to Morrison's.
"When we came out we went to the car park for back Riggs and saw them filming Vera outside the Morpeth Larder but the cameramen couldn't tell us when it was going to be on the television."

Meanwhile, the team had also been seen setting up shop at Morpeth Bus Station as camera equipment, trailers and portable looks took over the car park.
A Facebook page, MorpethNewsTV captured the moment television crews arrived as the site was transformed into a set.
It comes as Vera creator, Ann Cleeves last week wished the crew a "beautiful" morning as she confirmed filming had started for series 12.
She tweeted: "A beautiful Northumberland morning to welcome team Vera home.
"Good luck to Brenda Blethyn, Kenny Doughty, and all the cast and crew."
