POLICE are trying to trace two men who came to the aid of a woman after she was assaulted.
The woman was the victim of an assault in the Hartburn area of Stockton on Tuesday (March 15).
She was spotted walking and carrying her shoes by two men, who are reported to have helped her by allowing her to get into their van.

Police investigating the assault would like to speak to the men, who were travelling in a white van in the area of Branksome Grove between 7.40am and 8.10am on Tuesday, March 15.
No further description of them is available.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Detectives would like to thank the men for their assistance and to speak to them as part of their enquiries.”
They would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV near to, or in the Branksome Grove/Harlsey Road area, at around this time which has captured the victim.
