A MAN was made to pay over £1,000 after he was caught driving while under the influence of cocaine.
Benjamin Lindley Tootill, 39, of Cavendish Avenue, Harrogate, North Yorkshire appeared before magistrates on Friday March 11.

He was charged with driving on his home street, Cavendish Avenue, while under the influence of Benzoylecgonine, a breakdown of cocaine.
Tootill was fined £600 for the offence, and was also made to pay £60 to victim services and £620 to Crown Prosecution Service.
He also pleaded not guilty to the offence but was found guilty.
