A MAN was taken to hospital after being reportedly hit by a car during an incident last night.
Officers from Cleveland Police were called to reports of an ongoing fight in Thornaby at about 5pm.
Five people have been arrested in connection to the incident, which happened at the corner of Harrier Close and Master Road.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said a man had been struck by a silver Mercedes.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Five men aged from 20 to their mid-40s were arrested in connection with the reported incident and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "At around 5pm, police received a number of reports of an on-going fight at the corner of Harrier Close and Master Road and it was further reported that a man had been struck by a silver Mercedes.
"He attended hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed life-threatening."
