CCTV footage capturing the final hours of a father-of-one beaten to death during a drunken party has been released by detectives.

Tomasz Dembler had only living in the house on Edward Street, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, for a couple of weeks before a 'sexual slur' led to a brutal, sustained attack.

Within hours of his trip to the pizza shop, the 39-year-old was savagely kicked, punched, and stamped on, during the fatal attack just days after he upset one of his killers with his verbal slight.

Zbigniew Pawlowski reacted angrily at the time but a few days later, in the early hours of March 21 last year, his fury erupted again and Mr Dembler was savagely beaten to death.

In a dramatic twist, the 41-year-old admitted the manslaughter of Mr Dembler, along with his co-accused, Rafal Chmielewski, in the seventh week of a murder trial at Teesside Crown Court.

Three other co-accused - Monika Solarska; Tomasz Reczycki; and Adam Czerwinski, all pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice by helping the pair to dispose of the body.

Detectives from Cleveland Police trawled through hours of CCTV to piece together the final movements of Mr Dembler.
