A LARGE fire at a disused building in North Yorkshire is being treated as arson.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze at an old school in Scarborough last night (Friday, February 25).
It is being treated as a suspected arson and police are hunting for three teenage suspects.
Crews from Scarborough and Filey were called to the old Overdale School buildings in Eastfield at about 8.30pm.

The school in Hawthorn Walk was well alight on arrival and firefighters requested back up from crews from Sherburn, Robin Hoods Bay and Pickering.
No injuries were reported but there was significant disruption to neighbouring roads.
Police are appealing for information about three teenage boy suspects seen at the site.
The first is described as thin, white, around 15 years old and had a bowl haircut. He was wearing a black jacket with white panels across it and black tracksuit trousers.
The second is described as looking around 13 years old, white, chubby, with a black jacket, blue hoodie and grey jogging trousers.
A description of the third suspect is not available.
Anyone with information should call North Yorkshire Police immediately on 101, select option 1 to speak to the force control room and quote incident number 459 of Friday.
Fire crews remained at the scene overnight to dampen down.
