MEMBERS of the public are being warned not to be alarmed when a section of the coast is coned off today.
Firefighters are training near Seaham, in east Durham, today.
The planned exercise is taking place at the Chemical Beach cliffs in the town.

Part of the area will be cordoned off at about 9am which may cause restricted parking in the Noses Point car park.
A spokesperson for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said: “Please do not be alarmed, this is all part of the exercise. It is due to be concluded around 2pm.
“Thanks for your co-operation.”
