SHOCKING pictures show a train station completely flooded as passengers in the North East have been advised not to travel.
Network Rail has released a picture showing water completely covering the tracks at Rotherham railway station in South Yorkshire.
It comes as Storm Franklin is set to bring misery to the region, with severe winds expected to cause damage and a "danger to life."

Northern Railway is currently advising all passengers in the North East and North Yorkshire against travel due to severe weather and "numerous incidents."

In a statement on Monday morning (February 21), it said: "Storm Franklin is causing significant disruption to the Northern network on Monday 21 Feb.
"Customers should expect delays and cancellations and are strongly advised not to travel across the whole Northern network.
"Due to the severe weather and numerous incidents, caused by the storm, we will be terminating all services in the North West. No further trains will run until at least 10:30, this might be extended.

"Do not attempt to travel, do not head to stations as there are no alternatives."
Elsewhere in the North East, LNER has informed passengers that they will be accepting tickets on alternative days due to the recently passed storm.
In a statement, it said: "On Friday 18 February we experienced severe disruption to our services following Storm Eunice.
"We are sorry for any inconvience that this may have caused.
"We'd like to remind all passengers that your tickets dated, Friday 18 February, are valid for travel on: Monday 21 February and Tuesday 22 February.
"Please check your train before you travel and reserve a seat here as they are expected to be extremely busy."
