STORM Eunice has forced a flight from Lanzarote bound for Leeds Bradford Airport to divert 70 miles away to Teesside.
The FR2047 Ryanair flight departed at 11.10am this morning and was due to arrive into Leeds Bradford Airport at around 3.30pm.
However, it was diverted toward Teesside International Airport and took two further attempts to land according to a live map from FlightRadar24.

A “do not travel” alert was issued across Britain’s railways, as eight operators, including LNER, TransPeninne Express and CrossCountry, suspended all services.
