SCHOOLS across County Durham have closed today due to bad weather caused by Storm Eunice.
Motorists are facing difficult driving conditions and schools are shut for safety reasons.
One school has closed because of a lack of heating and “the building being extremely cold”.
The schools are due to reopen on after the half-term holiday on Monday, February 28.
