AN iconic North Yorkshire viaduct has inspired a German man to painstakingly recreate it in Lego bricks.
Just weeks after a short Tik Tok video of Knaresborough went viral, the town is once again attracting online admirers thanks to Martin Renger's impressive Lego model of its landmark viaduct.

Martin, of the Baden Württemberg region of southern Germany, told The Northern Echo that he first started building his model a few days after Christmas and hopes to have it finished by the end of this month.
He is currently working on building two motorised trains which will cross the viaduct to complete his Lego masterpiece.

The model-maker has used online photographs and Google maps street view to accurately recreate houses on Water Bag Bank opposite the viaduct.
Martin's efforts haven't gone unnoticed - nor unappreciated - as people have taken to facebook to describe his work as 'absolutely amazing', 'fantastic' and 'superb'.
Some Knaresborough residents have also found Martin's Twitter page ‘Der alte Mann und der Stein’ (The Old Man and the Stone) to personally congratulate him on the accuracy of his Lego model.
One said: "That's amazing! I live in the grey house along the top, and you have done an astonishingly accurate job!"
Martin has promised his fans that he will post a video on Youtube once the motorised trains areup and running along the viaduct.
