WORK to repair a damaged sewer in Northallerton will begin this Sunday leading to a three-day closure of a main road into the town.
To allow the work to be completed safely, Yafforth Road will be closed to traffic when the work starts on February 13.

Yorkshire Water has worked closely with the local authority highways departments to implement a diversion.
Repairs are expected to take three days to complete, and Yorkshire Water’s teams will be working hard to reduce disruption to a minimum.
As part of the work, Yorkshire Water will not require access to any properties in the area.
