POLICE have asked drivers on the A167 to slow down and drive with care while they deal with two swans in the road.
Drivers have been asked to slow down on the exit onto the B1318 Great North Road near the Town Moor.
The police are currently dealing with two swans in the road, and a video on Twitter shows officers corralling the birds.
Reports suggest access is still possible to the road, however drivers have been asked to take care.
