FLOWERS and balloons have appeared at the side of a Darlington road where a teenager was killed at the weekend.
The incident, involving a white Transit van, happened shortly after 7.30pm on the A67 Carmel Road South in Darlington on Saturday.

Sadly, a 17-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Floral tributes have now appeared at the roadside for the teen, who is yet to be named by police, as well as balloons and candles.
The driver and a second passenger were taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The road was closed for several hours while officers investigated the incident.

Anyone with dashcam footage of a white Transit van being driven along the A66 from the Darlington Arena in the direction of Carmel Road South shortly before 7.30pm is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident reference 352 of February 5.
