A MAN was taken to hospital on Sunday morning after sustaining "serious injuries" in Darlington.
It is believed the man suffered a medical episode in the early hours of the morning.
Police cordoned off Warren Street, near Darlington Memorial Hospital, on Sunday morning and were seen knocking on doors on nearby Greenbank Road.

Access to the nearby area was also restricted while officers were on the scene.
A spokeswoman for Durham Constabulary said: “Police attended Warren Street, in Darlington, in the early hours of Sunday morning, after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
“The man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital and is currently being treated for serious injuries, which officers believe were sustained during a medical episode.”
