A MIDDLESBROUGH woman was fined over £200 after she threw a cigarette on the floor.
Hannah Johnson, 25 of Kirkby Lane in Middlesbrough, appeared before magistrates court for the offence.
She was charged with depositing litter after she was caught throwing a used cigarette on the floor and leaving it there.
Johnson was fined £220 for the offence and was proved guilty in a single justice procedure.
She was also made to pay £35 to victim services and £125 in court costs.
