FEROCIOUS winds tore the roof clean off a terraced house in the North East earlier today.
Storm Malik’s battering of the region has left this property completely destroyed.

Winds of 75 mph have caused chaos all day with fallen trees, toppled lorries and collapsed walls and fences.
Power has also been affected with tens of thousands of homes without electricity this evening.
