COVID and booster vaccinations will be available in Teesside today and Middlesbrough Council is encouraging everyone to grab a jab.
In a post on the Facebook group ‘Teesside Connected,’ Middlesbrough Council said pop-up clinics are being held today and you don't need an appointment.
The vaccines will be administered at Buzz Bingo on the Longlands/North Ormesby crossroads.

First, second and third doses of all vaccines are available.
In the post, the council said: “Infection rates remain very high in Middlesbrough, and the vaccine vastly reduces your risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus.
“More than 800,000 people a month nationally struggle with day-to-day activities, due to Long Covid.”
Whilst there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering, the Government suggests that everyone continues to wear one in crowded and enclosed spaces, especially where you come into contact with people you do not usually meet.
