STEALING a perfume set then not appearing in court after being charged has cost a Stockton man more than £100.
Magistrates sitting at Teesside on Friday, January 21, heard that Daniel Dixon, 26, stole a Jimmy Choo Perfume gift set worth £59 from Barkers on Northallerton High Street on November 16, 2021.

He was arrested and released on police bail, but then failed to attend court when he was supposed to.
Dixon, of South Road, Stockton, pleaded guilty to theft and was given a six-month conditional discharge.
He admitted failing to attend court when requested and was fined £40.
Additional court costs and charges increased the total to £114 and he has until February 4 to pay it off.
