POLICE are appealing for information following a disturbance involving a man and a woman in a County Durham town centre.
The incident occurred at around 2pm on Sunday, January 23 near the Morrisons Daily store, on Oxford Road, Spennymoor, and involved a grey Seat Ibiza which travelled towards St Andrews Road.

Officers are keen to trace any witnesses, obtain CCTV and dashcam footage of the incident.
The male suspect is described as being in his 20s, with brown hair and was wearing a black zip up jacket, black trousers and grey shoes.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact DC Stewart Walker on 101 extension 202496 quoting incident number 227 of January 23.
