A GANG of six or seven men is thought to have attacked a man in a North East park, leaving him with an open fracture.
The victim required hospital treatment following the attack in Stockton, Norton last night.
Police were called to Norton Recreational Park at about 8.13pm to a reported assault on a man in his 30s by a group of men.

It is thought to have involved a group of six or seven men.
The victim suffered an open fracture to his right leg requiring hospital treatment.
The men were reported to have made off following the incident, on foot, away from the park, towards the direction of Leven Road.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything at around this time, in the area of Norton Road, Norton Avenue, Leven Road, including any dashcam or CCTV, to contact them on 101, reference 013360.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
