A WOMAN was seriously injured after being hit by a car today.
The female pedestrian was injured in the collision, which happened on the A135 in Stockton at about 7.19am.
The incident was reported on the A135 (1825 Way) near to the Bridge Road Retail Park and the junction with the A1305.

It involved a female pedestrian and a blue Ford Fiesta car.
The pedestrian has suffered serious injuries, a spokesperson for Cleveland Police spokesperson said.
Officers investigating the crash are appealing for information and dashcam or CCTV footage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage which may assist is asked to call 101, reference 009.
