Smith was charged with attempted burglary of an address with intent to steal where he entered as a trespasser into a dwelling.
He was also charged with three cases of interfering with a motor vehicle and one case of theft of a motor vehicle.
The 24-year-old was committed to prison for an overall sentence of 26 weeks for his crimes and made to pay £128 to victim services.
The reason given for his imprisonment was because the “offence was so serious and because the defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property.”
