AN appeal has been made after a dog-walker was knocked to the ground by a motorbike.
Cleveland Police is appealing for witnesses with dashcam footage of the incident in Middlesbrough.
A man in his 50s was walking his dog on Barker Road on Monday December 20 at about 4pm when the black motorbike, which had no lights on, turned at speed from Thornfield Road and collided with him, knocking him to the ground.
The victim struck his face on the pavement and later required thousands of pounds of dental treatment.

The motorbike was ridden by a single male with no helmet who left after the incident.
The victim believes a motorist just behind the bike saw the incident but did not stop.
Anyone who was in the area and who may have seen either the incident or the motorbike/rider or who may have captured it on their CCTV or dashcam is urged to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref SE-22-006814.
