SEVENTEEN people in our region were fined for breaching coronavirus rules between October and this month.
This comes as it emerged Boris Johnson the Prime Minister attended a party on May 20, 2020.
There have been widespread calls for his resignation after his apology during Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs).
Mr Johnson admitted at the beginning of PMQs he attended a lockdown party in the No 10 garden on in 2020.

He offered an apology but said he thought it classified as a work event and therefore would fall within the rules.
The following people were fined for breaching coronavirus rules between October 2021 up until this month.
Samantha Jayne Hilton, 35, of Ramillies Road, Sunderland on November 28, 2020 obstructed a police constable carrying out coronavirus regulations in Sunderland.
Fined £200, costs £85, victim surcharge £34.
Cetin Koroglu, 52, of Harewood Close, York on October 23, 2020 carried on or provided a restricted business at 19 Twenty Bar and Grill in Elvet Bridge, Durham without reasonable excuse.
Fined £100, victim surcharge £34, costs £200.
Christopher Paul Owers, 36, of Ash Street, Langley Park on October 12, 2020 at Langley Park, County Durham, having arrived in England from Turkey failed to self-isolate in accordance with coronavirus regulations.
Fined £480, victim surcharge £48, costs £620.
Karl Ellwood of Park Terrace, Horden on February 11, 2021 allowed members of the public to use his gym and fitness centre, Ed’s Gym and Fitness Centre in Windsor Corner, Horden.
Fined £660, victim surcharge £190, costs £717.29.
Daniel Proctor, 34, of Westgate Court, Westgate Road on January 12, 2021 without reasonable excuse failed to leave Asda in Newcastle after being told to by a police constable under coronavirus restrictions.
Fined £400, victim surcharge £40, costs £110.
Nicholas Barker, 20, of Mostyn Avenue, Heswall on November 21, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place indoors at Fern Avenue in Jesmond with two or more people.
Fined £220, victim surcharge £34.
Scott Winder, 26, of Durham Avenue, Donwell on November 20, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place indoors in Horizon Apartments in Borough Road, Sunderland which consisted of two or more people.
Fined £1,144, victim surcharge £114, costs £85.
Anthony Grayson, 63, of Batemoor Road, Sheffield on November 21, 2020 without reasonable excuse was outside of the place where he was living namely Cayton Bay on the North Yorkshire coast.
Victim surcharge £34, costs £90, fined £180.
Fredrick Smith, 29, of Barden Place, Armley on November 22, 2020 without reasonable excuse left where he was living namely Olivers Mount in Jackson Lane, Scarborough.
Fined £325, victim surcharge £34, costs £85.
Majid Mojdeh, 42, of Oxford Street, Sunderland on October 12, 2020 allowed customers to be at his business namely Monroe’s Takeaway in Stockton Road, Sunderland.
Conditional discharge for 12 months, victim surcharge £22.
Kaesha Ebanks, 22, of Galsworthy Road, South Shields on November 14, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place on Galsworthy Road with two or more people.
Fined £333, victim surcharge £34, costs £85.
Maximiciano Licciardi, 21, of Old Brumby Street, Scunthorpe on November 24, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place at Grosvenor Place, Jesmond with two or more people.
Fined £66, victim surcharge £34.
Bianca Joanne Broderick, 48, of Dukesfield, Shiremoor on November 20, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place in Edington Road, Cullercoats with two or more people.
Fined £66, victim surcharge £34.
Angela Mary Grayson, 51, of Batemoor Road, Sheffield on November 21, 2020 without reasonable excuse were outside of the place they were living namely Cayton Bay in Scarborough.
Fined £180, victim surcharge £34, costs £90.
Richard Arnold Lee Burdon, 19, of Henley Avenue, Pelton Fell on March 6, 2021 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering at Tennyson Road, Pelton Fell with more than two people.
Fined £660, victim surcharge £66, costs £300.
Helen Maria Roper, 55, of River View, North Shields on November 20, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering which took place at Eddington Road, Cullercoats with two or more people.
Fined £200.
Eleni Mebrat, 24, of Ovington Grove, Newcastle on November 13, 2020 without reasonable excuse participated in a gathering at Sackville Road, Newcastle with two or more people.
Fined £320, victim surcharge £34, costs £110.
