POLICE have issued an appeal following a serious collision in Middlesbrough.
Police are appealing for information after a serious collision in Middlesbrough yesterday morning, (Monday).
It happened just after 8.05am on Linthorpe Road close to the junction with Kensington Road.
A 46-year-old woman crossing the road was in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta which was travelling south down Linthorpe Road.

The lady was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she is being treated for internal injuries and grazing.
Any witnesses (or people with dash cam or CCTV footage from the area) who have not yet spoken to police are urged to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting Ref 008474.
