CLEVELAND Police officers are investigating a New Years Day assault in Middlesbrough, Teesside.
Police officers are investigating an assault in Middlesbrough in the early hours of New Year’s Day (Saturday, January 1).
Three men in their late teens were walking along Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough at approximately 12.15am, near Betfred and Savers, when they were attacked by three other men who were with three females at the time.
The attackers kicked and punched the victims while they were on the ground, before running from the scene.

One of the male victims sustained a broken arm and another a broken nose and lost a tooth in the incident.
Enquiries are on-going and Cleveland Police are appealing for anyone with information or who may have dash cam footage or CCTV of the incident to get in touch with them.
