A WOMAN who went missing from her North Yorkshire home has been found, police have this morning confirmed.
North Yorkshire Police had been concerned for the welfare of a 21-year-old who was reported missing from Malton, North Yorkshire, yesterday morning.
The force appealed to the public for information which could help trace her.
Police search teams, assisted by the NPAS police helicopter and a mountain rescue team, had been focusing their attention around Dalby Forest, Thornton-Le-Dale and Pickering after her car was located in the forest.
This morning a member of the public, who had seen the appeal, recognised her and was able to contact police and help get the woman back to safety.
