POLICE have said enquiries are ongoing after a woman remain in hospital following a serious crash.
Police officers remain in contact with the woman's family, offering updates and continuing support.
The 62-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a van on The Spital in Yarm on Thursday, December 30 morning and was later taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Police are still appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the white Peugeot van on the road in the Shell garage/Thirsk Road/Spital areas.

Anyone with dash cam or CCTV which may have captured images on their system is asked to get in touch on 101.
On Tuesday a Cleveland Police spokeswoman confirmed the woman remained in hospital in a “critical but stable condition”.
The driver of the van, a 61-year-old man, was arrested in connection with the incident and later released.
