A WOMAN has appeared in court following a disturbance at a County Durham pub on New Year's Day.
Lisa Heightley-Goggs, 50, has been charged with two counts of Section 18 wounding with intent and one count of possession of a bladed article following the incident in the grounds of the Grand Electric Hall pub, in Spennymoor, at around 8pm.
Two women were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Ms Heightley-Goggs, of Witton Drive, Spennymoor, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court yesterday (January 3) and was released on bail with conditions.
She is next expected to appear at Durham Crown Court on January 31.
Durham Police continue to appeal for information about the incident.
