A NORTH EAST business owner couldn't believe his eyes when he came face to face with a Hollywood actor earlier today. 

Heart-throb Tom Hardy stunned seaside visitors when he made a trip to Saltburn MiniGolf on Wednesday afternoon.

The mini golf club shared a photo of the actor's visit on social media this afternoon.

It's the latest sighting of the 44-year-old Peaky Blinders star in the North East over the years.

Hardy is married to Stockton actress Charlotte Riley and has previously been seen out in Yarm and at Darlington Railway Station.

Writing on Facebook, Saltburn MiniGolf said: "We get a lot of famous people visiting our wonderful resort, but today was a bit special with a visit from Tom Hardy.

"For star spotting and Minigolf come and join us were open from 11-4pm daily."
