POLICE officers searching for a missing man have released CCTV images to the public in a bid to help locate him.
Frederick Cox, 58, of Carlisle, was initially reported missing to Cumbria Police on Friday, December 17, but he has since been seen in the Newcastle area.
He is described as being 5ft10 inches tall, of slim build with short brown hair.

It is understood he may be in the Northumbria Police area and officers are now issuing a further appeal for help, after he was last sighted in Newcastle.
Superintendent Craig Metcalfe, of Northumbria Police, said: “Our officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Frederick and ensure that he is safe and well.
“Since our earlier appeal, we have discovered recent CCTV footage that shows Frederick entering the Maid Marion shop on West Avenue in Westerhope, Newcastle at around 3.30pm on Friday 17 December.
“We believe this is the last sighting of Frederick and it is likely that Frederick will be wearing this clothing should he be sighted again.
"Therefore, we are further appealing to the public for their help in sharing these images and reporting any further information.
“Anybody who believes they have seen somebody matching Frederick’s description, or who have heard from him, are urged to get in touch with police.”
Frederick, or anyone who has seen him, is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the Northumbria Police website at services.northumbria.police.uk/online-services/tell-us-something/ or by calling 101 quoting log NP-20211220-0812.
