A MAN who was reported as missing in North Yorkshire has been found "safe and well" by the mountain rescue service.
Andrew Iredale failed to return to his home in North Yorkshire after a walk on the moors today (December 26).
A police helicopter and drone, as well as Cleveland Mountain Rescue volunteers were combing the area around his home in Commondale this afternoon.
The 65-year-old was found this evening between his home and Danby.
In a statement on Facebook, a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "The missing 65-year-old man from Commondale was found safe and well on a riverside path between his home and Danby at 5.35pm by the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team.
"Many thanks for supporting the appeal."
The 65-year-old was reported missing at 12.42pm after failing to return from a walk on the moors.
