SCORES of hampers have been created by the Friends of the Friarage in time to be handed out to hospital patients before Christmas.
The hampers were made up and organised by Friends of the Friarage trustee, Lyn Proud, and will be given to all patients in the Northallerton hospital on Christmas Eve.

Lyn said: “Inevitably, some patients will find themselves staying in hospital over the holiday period.
"Each year Friends make sure that patients receive a special gift to provide some Christmas cheer at this time.
"We’re delighted and grateful that this year Taylor Wimpey have supported Friends of the Friarage by kindly funding our Christmas hampers for patients.”
Staff on each ward and in each department at the Friarage Hospital also received a gift from the Friends this week.
