The team at NQA Foodbank said: "We are always looking to help those who need help and Christmas can be, by far, the hardest time of year.
"For many it can be a very lonely time of year, and with the uncertainty hanging over everybody regarding the current circumstances, many don't even know if they'll be able to see family or not.
"We have had some absolutely amazing support from Morrison's North Road Community Champion, Bike Stop Darlington, RAF Leeming, The Copper Beech pub, Hummersknott Academy, Sainsbury's, Taylor's Butchers & Cafe, Darlington Scouts, Darlington Rotary Club and more over the last week in our preparation for the festive period."
