A WEATHER warning has been placed on the North East and other areas of the country.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the North East due to foggy conditions.
The warning is for fog and will last until tomorrow (Saturday) at 12pm.
A yellow weather warning means the weather is likely to have some impact, for example travel disruption.
The Met Office has said to expect slower journey times with delays to buses, trains and other public transport possible.
There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights, due to low visibility.
