A MAN suffered multiple facial injuries in a Middlesbrough assault.
A 60-year-old man was left with serious facial injuries after he was assaulted by two unknown men who were on an off-road motorbike.
The man was walking across the grassed area from Ambrose Road to Bankfields Road in Middlesbrough at around 9pm on Friday, December 3 when the men, believed to be in their 20s and both wearing balaclavas and dark clothing, rode towards him and assaulted him.
He was repeatedly punched until he fell to the ground whereupon the suspects kicked him. He suffered a broken palate, broken left cheekbone and eye socket as well as significant facial bruising.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam which may have captured images of the men on the motorbike to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting Ref 207451.
If you don’t want to speak to police, information can be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers.
