A MAN suffered serious head injuries after a suspected assault in Newcastle and police are looking to trace a man who was in the area at the time.
The victim was seriously assaulted outside the Spot White Pool & Snooker Bar on Stowell Street Sunday, October 10 at 04.10am.

It was reported an unknown man tackled the 25 year-old victim to the floor, causing him serious injuries to his head which required hospital treatment.
Thankfully the victim has now made a full recovery.
An investigation has since been launched and police are appealing to the public to help identify the man pictured.
He was in the area at the time and may have information that could assist the investigation.
