DARLINGTON Hippodrome welcomes McCartney - The Songbook on January 10 2022.
Starring Peter John Jackson (Let It Be, The Sessions At Abbey Road, That’ll Be The Day), this production follows Sir Paul’s prolific career, from The Beatles and beyond, creating a unique show.
Peter reached critical acclaim for his portrayal of McCartney in the hit West End and Broadway Beatle stage show Let It Be; before joining the international arena show, The Sessions At Abbey Road.

Now starring in the UK touring show, That’ll Be The Day, Peter will be coming to theatres in 2022 to showcase the songbook of McCartney’s career and share his tales of life on the road.
The two-hour show will include songs from The Beatles, Wings and Sir Paul's solo material.
Peter said: "I grew up listening to The Beatles and although I never set out to be a Paul McCartney tribute, I love playing the music and when that adrenaline hits you when you walk out on stage, there's nothing like it.
"I started playing the guitar when I was about 6 and my first influence was The Beatles.
"At school, I was in a band and then we lost our bass player so I was then the lead singer and bass player, reminiscent of what Paul McCartney did.
“Paul McCartney is a living legend.
“He is responsible for changing the sound of popular music with The Beatles and his prolific talent for song-writing has blessed us with over 60 years of incredible tracks.”
