HUNDREDS of pounds in cash prizes are up for grabs at a town centre snowman trail.
Businesses have embraced the Love Northallerton Magical Snowman Trail which challenges the public to find more than 200 snowmen dotted about the town.

Each participating business will carry a sticker with a unique QR code in its window when the trail goes live on Friday, December 3.
Participants need to register their phone and scan each code when they find a snowman.
They will then be entered into cash prize draw with the prize starting at £50 for 20 snowmen found, rising up to £250 if more than 80 unique snowman codes are scanned.
The trail is being organised by Northallerton Business Improvement District (BID) and manager Graham Bell said: "Our magical snowmen are top of the bill this Christmas and they’ve certainly got people talking.
“We wanted to make Christmas extra special this year and attract as many people as possible to shop in Northallerton and enjoy all our wonderful attractions.”
Running throughout the festive season will be a special Sky TV campaign developed by the BID highlighting all Northallerton has to offer for Christmas.

Their 'We Are Northallerton' TV campaign earlier this year attracted a record 110,747 viewings, making it the most successful advertising campaign the town has ever seen.
The snowman competition runs until December 31 and results will be announced in early January.
Artistically designed and painted on wood, the snowmen have been handcrafted by Jennyruth Workshops in Ripon, a centre for adults with learning disabilities.
