POLICE say they have made an arrest after an assault that occurred in Scarborough following an altercation between two men.
North Yorkshire Police say the incident happened before midnight on Saturday October 30 and involved an altercation between two men outside of the Sanctuary Bar on St Nicholas Street.

One man believed to be involved in the incident was arrested and has since been released on bail while enquiries are made, according to police.
Officers are appealing for information from members of the public to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
They are particularly looking for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
The force says one man involved was in his late 20s, had short dark hair, and was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue jumper, and white trainers.
