A demand for child actors across North Yorkshire has led to the opening of a new branch in Harrogate.
Articulate works with many production companies and is the primary source of young actors for shows filmed in Yorkshire such as All Creatures Great and Small, Gentleman Jack, Peaky Blinders, Emmerdale, Last Tango in Halifax and others.
Some of Articulate’s talented youngsters include Tilly Kaye who plays ‘Biff’ in CBeebies series Biff and Chip.
Articulate also train and represent Austin Haynes who has just finished filming as a leading role in sequel to the much loved classic ‘The Railway Children’ which is set to hit cinemas in April next year.
It’s not just local production companies that Articulate provides actors for, this last year has seen Articulate children from Yorkshire flying across the globe filming major TV and commercial projects including teen Henry Kent from Ilkley who was flown out to Mexico to film the Coca Cola advert.
Articulate’s owner Stacey Burrows said: "Harrogate is fortunate enough to offer lots of opportunities for young people to get involved in drama and the arts, but for those wanting to explore the art of TV acting and see how they get on in the industry, Articulate classes and representation can be just what is needed.
"We chose Harrogate because increasingly, our TV and film clients are asking us for children to film in nearby locations such as the Yorkshire Dales, York, Ripon and Harrogate itself."

Articulate’s Harrogate branch on Mornington Terrace is now open and students are already learning a plethora of skills, whilst some of the students have even begun auditioning for roles.
Some of the older Harrogate students, who have only just started classes, have already been selected to film for series five of Ackley Bridge for Channel 4.
