ASSAULTING a police officer and being in possession of cannabis has landed a man with more than £400 to pay in court.
Simon Adrian Donno was sentenced by North Yorkshire Magistrates sitting at Harrogate on November 11.

He pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug at Harrogate Police Station on October 28 where he also assaulted a police officer.
Donno, 34, of Ripon Road, Wormald Green in North Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to both charges and was fined £140 and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
A £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs brought the amount he has to pay to £409.
