A WOMAN who kicked and punched a police officer on duty has been ordered to pay almost £400 by the courts.
Lisa Gibson, of High Street, Knaresborough, pleaded guilty before North Yorkshire Magistrates on November 11 to assault by beating of an emergency worker.

The 27-year-old assaulted an officer at Harrogate District Hospital on October 23 and was sentenced at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Magistrates fined her £120 and ordered her to pay £150 in compensation.
Court costs and charges brought the total amount she has to pay up to £389.
