POLICE have arrested three men in connection with an incident which saw an elderly woman being approached and handing over money.
The incident reportedly happened on Thornaby Road in Thornaby on Tuesday November 9.

Cleveland Police say it was reported that a vulnerable elderly woman had handed over money after being approached and followed into Martinet Court.
Three males, aged 17, 22, and 25 remain in police custody and are being questioned. Officers are also seeking a fourth male they would like to speak to.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Enquiries are on-going and we’d once again appeal for anyone with information/cctv or dash cam footage to contact Stockton CID via the 101 number. Please quote Ref 190660.
“Alternatively, you can pass information anonymously to Crimestoppers online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org (or phone 0800 555 111).”
