AN appeal has been made after a man was reported to have attempted to sexually assault a woman in her 50s.
It happened in Hartlepool on Friday, October 29.
A woman is her 50s was on a grass field in Lennox Walk at about 7pm when a man approached her and made sexually explicit comments, a spokesman for Cleveland Police said.

The man then tried to grab her arm but was disturbed by a passer-by and made off.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late teens or early twenties, of slim build, 5ft 9” to 6ft tall, a flat face, clean shaven and he spoke with a local Hartlepool accent.
He was wearing a hooded top, which was navy blue with a grey stripe across the chest and light grey jogging bottoms.
Officers investigating the incident have made an appeal for information.
