Creator and co-producer of the show, Ged Graham, said: “This show will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas.

“You don’t have to love Irish music to love this show. It’s universal feel-good music.

“70 million people around the world claim Irish heritage so you don’t have to live in Ireland to love the music and culture.

“We started rehearsing in Wales in July and we can’t wait to hit the road and spread some festive cheer round the UK.

“Having the support of Tourism Ireland is very validating. We want to showcase what Ireland has to offer."

The tour kicks off at Darlington Hippodrome on Monday November 8.

There are 33 performances lined up throughout November and December.

If you can't make Monday's performance in Darlington, the cast will be returning to the North East on Wednesday December 8 at Middlesbrough Town Hall.
